Hanoi Cycling Tour Ky Son Hoa Binh 1 Day is a day trip, starting from Hanoi and taking you to Ky Son is a rural village of Northern Vietnam. This day trip offers a unique experience if you wish to discover authentic rural life. In a charming home-stay you will have a cooking class and lunch. Afterwards you take a bicycle ride to discover different villages in the surrounding.

Itinerary

Picked up at your hotel in Hanoi and brought to Ky Son, a rural district of Hòa Bình Province in the Northwest region of Vietnam.

Upon arrival in Ky Son village at about 10.00, make the first stop at the Moon Garden Lodge. Welcome drink with local green tea. Have a short walk to discover the village, local market, kinder garden.

Then join the cooking class at 11.00. With your host, you will learn how to make some local Vietnamese dishes. Then have lunch at noon.

After lunch, enjoy Hand Spa by having your fingers dipped in a fragrant lime bowl and the traditional herbal hand massage.

Then enjoy a bike ride (6K) to discover the Ky Son, Tam Son, Van Minh, and Cham farming communities. Make a stop at any home you like for a cup of tea. Visit the kindergarten (if open). Those who like to ride more can take the longer ride (12K) to visit Ky Son, Tam Son, Van Minh, and Duong Lam.

Return to the lodge at about 16.00 for happy hour (you will be offered some kind of local tisane). While waiting for your foot bath in warm water with ginger, salt and mugwort medicinal herbs to be prepared, you can taste some local maize, sweet potato, cassava, peanuts, etc (depending on season).
